Bizkaidendak is the Federation that unites and represents local businesses in Bizkaia. It brings together 42 business associations and more than 3,350 establishments throughout the region, making it the main representative body for small businesses in Bizkaia.
The Federation arises from the sector's own need to have a solid, effective and unified organization, capable of defending its interests and responding to the real needs of the retail sector. After several previous attempts, Bizkaidendak has established itself as a common space that coordinates, organizes, and strengthens local businesses in Bizkaia.
At Bizkaidendak we work to promote the economic, social and cultural development of local businesses, supporting establishments in their processes of
transformation, innovation and adaptation to the new times, without losing the essence that defines them: closeness, trust and human treatment.
The Federation actively participates in decision-making forums and collaborates with institutions to ensure that the voice of local businesses is heard and taken into account in policies that affect
the sector.

The Bizkaidendak Individual Mentoring Program was created in 2022 to offer business owners fully personalized training, adapted to the real needs of each business.
Through individual support with specialized professionals, each participant works on the aspects they most need to strengthen: from digitization or communication, to management or brand strategy.
This program, which has been very well received since its first edition, has established itself as an effective tool for promoting the growth, professionalization, and transformation of local businesses in Bizkaia. Bizkaidendak Meetings OSO PRO
Inspiration, strategy and a shared future
The Bizkaidendak OSO PRO Encounters are a space for reflection, learning and collective inspiration, created to promote local commerce in Bizkaia towards a more sustainable, innovative model connected with people.
Over five days held in Ondarroa, Mungia, Durango, Basauri and Bilbao, these meetings bring together institutional representatives, industry professionals and associated businesses to share experiences, strategies and future visions.
We have the participation of Ainara Basurko, Provincial Deputy of the Department of Economic Promotion, and Cristina Múgica, General Director of Territorial Competitiveness and Foreign Promotion of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, who accompany each day reinforcing the institutional commitment to local commerce.
A space for commerce that is moving forward
The OSO PRO Encounters revolve around three main axes: inspiration, strategy and shared reflection.
From the direct testimony of the participating businesses, the "VERY PRO" spirit of Bizkaia's commerce is highlighted: Proactive, Professional and very Close, the motto of the campaign promoted by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.
